Quite possibly the absolute worst burger my wife and I have ever eaten . We really couldn’t recall worse . We were shocked at how bad it was and how in the world they are considered the best around ! They are definitely NOT the best in Tn. I have to say every other drive in burger I’ve ever eaten was better. They must have family friends vote for them and make reviews. The food there was definitely cheap maybe that’s why folks like them . Even the cheese was cheap and not good . We love supporting local especially old school mom and pop restaurants but wished we had gone to the chain restaurant up the street..... Disappointed for sure. Don’t waste your time on this hyped up dump ! The folks that give this place a good review are paid or have never been out of Henderson !

After 40 years of driving out of the way for the best burger in the area, they have managed to mess up a great burger by precooking and holding in a pan of water.
Food and service are great...call in your order if they are busy or you will be waiting awhile. Need to get with the times and take debit/credit cards....they are cash only.
Burger was watery, crumbly and tasted steamed. They said they do that to keep up. They didn't have trouble keeping up with fresh cooked burgers while Joe Bell was living. Please fix this or keeping up will not be a problem. Sorry for the bad review, but this was very disappointing.
The service was incredibly slow and not very friendly. It took a solid hour just to get a house salad. We were ignored for a good half hour. I'll give it an extra star for the food being good, but it wasn't worth the wait or poor service.
