Richard King is the repairman and the owner. He's very straight forward about his prices. $30.00 service call plus 30.00 per hour. That's a third of the price of the chain's. He doesn't mark up the parts - he'll charge you 30.00 to go get it. He's a nice guy, but has a lot of pride in his work. He's done air conditioning, ice maker, and washing machine work for me. I'm very satisfied with his work!
My fiancee and I called about our dryer getting fixed, and when I called, the man was really nice and helpful. My fiancee called him the next day like he asked. My fiancee wasn't rude to him or anything and he told us to go call Sears and see if they could help us. He told my fiancee he doesn't like dishonesty, said our number came up blocked (which it isn't), said he doesn't play that game, threatened to hang up then did. What was there to be dishonest about?! All we wanted was to get our dryer fixed! He has even fixed things for my fiancees parents. We aren't children playing games and prank calling, which I guess is what he thought eventhough we have spoken the day before and knew who we were. With his attitude, I am surprised he is still in business. We won't ever call him again. I feel bad for whoever calls him and gets hung on.
