I really enjoy going to Chickasaw state park. We were there during the Christmas lights and it was great.
Great area to swim, play, walk, and just have an all around good time. Has paddle boat and kayak rentals too. Lovely park. We stayed there from noon till 6 pm and we had a blast.
I've been going here my whole life. Needs a little updating. Bridge a cross lake has been broken for awhile. Haven't been in a couple months so maybe that has changed. Nice large pavilions. Plenty of parking and picnic tables. Many trails to walk. Not really a good place to bank fish at least I haven't had much luck. Some parts are hard to get to water. We camped in tent last year for vacation. It was really quiet and relaxing
Nice rest stop on a long drive & undergoing updates. It looks like a nice place for a quiet retreat.
Best kept secret in West Tennessee. If you have never been, just go. The park is a smaller State Park which makes it easier to find Hiking Trails and see the Lakes. The Staff are also very helpful and friendly.
